Alright guys. I need your help. I'd like to get your opinion on something.

I have a very nice problem. I know. That sounds like an oxymoron. Since I graduated, I searched high and low for a job. No full time job found. Instead, I have 8 part time jobs that are all in the field. Most of my interviews for a full time job went REALLY well, but principals made a choice that I don't really blame them at all for. Most people who the principals interviewed were experienced teachers. Who are they going to choose? The person with experience or the fresh college graduate with no experience? The one with experience! That's what was getting me in the interviews. That's the problem that I'm hoping that these 8 jobs will eliminate once interviewing season starts up again for schools. The one job that I think will help the most is the preschool. It is hands on teaching experience! The other thing that several teachers have told me is substituting, especially in a long term placement (such as maternity leave).

I've been offered a maternity leave position (for Dr. Ragsdale's wife!). woohoo! This would be for April/May. So what's the problem? I would have to leave the preschool and leave them in somewhat of a bind without a music teacher and getting ready for graduation, which will involve a lot of music. I'm afraid of losing the preschool as a good reference for interviewing. On the flip side, it would be for teaching in a school system. I don't want to leave the preschool. But I don't want to pass up this opportunity either. HELP!

LOVE!
