Update on Shane
Hey everybody,
For those who know Tammy and Shane, here's an update on the most recent development. I know some of you are anxious to know.
Shane got sick a few days ago and had a CAT scan this morning to figure out what was going wrong. The scan showed hematoma on his spleen, or a ruptured blood vessel that causes a clot. He is also developing pnuemonia again. The doctor immediately sent him back to the ER once the results came back. The doctor said that they will need to drain Shane's lungs tomorrow in attempt to head of the pnuemonia. In the mean time, they want to watch the spleen to see if it will take care of itself. The worst case scenerio is that they will have to remove his spleen. Hopefully that won't have to happen. However, this does put Shane back in the hospital for the next few days. Tammy is stressed but is doing a very good job of putting on a brave face. Please keep them both in your prayers.
