This weekend
was semi-busy, but enjoyable.
Went out to the movies Friday night
with Kevin, Chris, Lynette, Jen and Mickey. We saw Be Cool, which
was absolutely horrible, but positive points were awarded to the
evening because I finally got to see Jen again. Went back to
Lynette's afterwords for Pictionary shenanigans... Chris & I are
the most untalented, amazing team in the world. It was all worth
it just for the drawing he created for the word 'enlarge.' Saturday
was the girl's show at Webster. They performed fairly well, but
the school was a horrible site for a show, so things were a little
crazy. I had to babysit (again) for one of my JV girls because
she had to take home the baby for her Personal Relationships class...
the plastic ones that people still somehow seem to think are
real. I of course got dirty looks. People-the hair is drawn
in. Get over it. I did, however, get to see my
darling Patrick, whom I hadn't seen in ages!! <3 He's already
decided that I have no choice other than to march Empire with him next
year. Eek. We'll see on that one... Sunday was relax/grocery shop/dance. Mostly in that order.
Today had
the potential to not be so wonderful, but it ended up being a rather
great day. I really didn't want to get up, but upon heading out to my
first class I discovered it was about 50 out... it was amazing. I didn't even
have to wear my coat the rest of the day. I want it to be spring now
after today. Then, we spent Children's Lit in the library so we could
get information about our picture books. Instead this girl Corrine and
I made fun of the stories the woman was reading and had a generally
enjoyable time not paying attention. Plus we got out early. And James
was wearing his Michael Jackson shirt today, which comes in second only
to the phenomenal birthday card I made him last week. AND THEN...we got
our math tests back today. I thought I did mildly alright on it. No. I
got a fucking 98%!!
:D Ms. "I'm the Biggest Math Retard EVER" gets a 98. Take that Math
106. I also killed my hands tossing my sabre today. It's a
good feeling. So yes... today was simply lovely.
I also just had Fruity Pebbles and I'm going with what Lauren has been saying for years. They're just about the best snack food ever created.
I think I might go straighten my hair so I don't have to deal with it
tomorrow (I desperately need a haircut) and then get some sleep before
::gag:: Bio tomorrow.
