Yes, Virginia, there really is a winter.
Well, cold weather has finally hit my pocket of the Southwest. It's 44F outside. The high is to be 56F. The rest of the week will be mid-60's. About bloody time!
Last week was pretty darn cool. I had my yearly evaluation. It's so nice to have a boss that takes these things seriously and uses them as a mentoring tool. I'm really looking forward to the next year.
Also, I gave a presentation on budgets that went very well. The folks who sat in on them asked good clarifying questions and good insightful questions. Unfortunately, none of the folks who will need the information showed up. But, they will not escape my spreadsheets! I've made arrangements with that division head to crash their department meeting to go over the information in detail. HA!
Today is all about the laundry (blah!), and the sewing (yay!), and the reconciling myself to classes starting (*sigh*).
