So I may have just developed an expensive and time-consuming hobby...maybe I'll get bored...

So, yeah...Japanese music may be the most expensive and time consuming hobby I've had in a long long time....

Maybe I'll get bored with it?

Unfortunately, as I keep finding new artists I like every other day, it seems that it will be a bit before I will bore of it.  But I must share with those of you who don't already know about japanese music:

Miyavi is a kick-ass guitarist.  I'm so smitten.

M-flo - if only I had like $200 sitting around so that I could order all their albums.  I know that a lot of the songs are available online for download, but I really want to actually have the CDs... And since each one is like 25-30 a piece, this is where the expensive part of this comes in...*sigh* I didn't really need to have extra money, I guess...  But I'm definately going to go order Cosmicolor once I get my paycheck.

I finally found Coldfeet!  So, here's the story:  Four years ago, I found an hour long online Japanese radio program that I was listening to so that I could hear Japanese.  In between the talking they played songs.  One of the songs was a remake of the old Rosemary Clooney song "Come on-a my House" with a verse in English then a verse in Japanese.  After doing some research, I found out the singer was a girl named Coldfeet who is like a Jazz/emcee/dj kind of singer from Japan.  But her albums were only available on her website and had to be ordered in Yen and it was this complicated mess.  I searched and searched and searched for this song, and all I could find was a music video on her website that I could watch in lieu of actually having the song and when I searched in programs like Kazaa and limewire all I found was this song called Seven (Coldfeet remix) by an artist who's name was in Kanji so I didn't know what it said.  But I downloaded that and I really enjoyed the song etc.  Well, last night I was looking on cdjapan to find out if Cosmicolor was any cheaper on their site. (it wasn't) But, at the bottom of the page it popped up with "Customers who bought this also bought..."  and it had a picture of the album cover from Seven and "The Best.." by Coldfeet.  I was freaking out.  So, now I know that Seven is by Nakashima Mika and Coldfeet's The Best album has the song on it.  So, after 4 years of searching, I've finally found the album!  YAY! Now, I just need $30...*Sigh*

But yeah...everyone who knows me should pray that I find a new hobby so that I can have more time and money.  *sigh*

Peace.
