This ought to be interesting...

Well, after seeing more and more people I know from Cons, fandom, mail lists, etc., on LJ, I finally took a deep breath and...stuck my toe in the shallow end.

This is Amirin.  Hi.  Some of you may recognize the name (Sherman, set the Wayback Machine) from Taffy's trekslash list in the oh-mi-god-has-it-been-that-long-yes-it-has early 90's.   And then there was (how's this for a smooth segue?)  X-Files.   Some of you may remember the name from there.  I dabbled a bit.  And dabbled a little less than a bit in Sports Night which was cut off in mid-brilliance by Those Who Have No Fecking Clue.

Anyway, I haven't written much of anything since the earlier part of this millenium but am into the reading of the Buffy & Angel 'verses in a largish way.  And have been since the 4th season of Buffy aired.  See, there was this vampire named Spike who crashed into the series full-time that year and, well, the story is too long to really get into but the cocky blood-sucker with the Mockney accent sank his fangs into my slashcentric lizardbrain and never let go.  Not that I'm complaining.  He makes for entertaining reading.  He's very slashable.  Very. Slashable.   And I'm sure there's more to internet access than slash but I haven't really found it yet.  Am I looking?  Not so much.  So, he's my New Great Thing, following the footsteps of Earlier Great Things, including Lucien LaCroix, Tom Paris, Alex Krycek, Methos, Danny Rydell, and many more that I'll probably have to put in a list somewhere.  If I can figure out how.

So this is me, this is me on LJ.  Any questions?
