Ok, Why can't I update my own account?

I am so over this.  I try to update my account, I get logged out and can't get back in.

This is getting old.  I thought I was logged in; I had to be to leave a comment on a new friend's account, it said I was logged in.  But I can't update, I can't change anything; it tells me to log in again and then won't let me.

Grrrrrrr.  Argh!
