OMG GET YOUR CAT! HE IS SUPER NEEDY AND INCONSOLABLE! (inconsolable because he trotted to me & my hands smelled like the oranges I just peeled and he literally skidded to a halt a foot away from me, sniffed and my hands, and LEAPED off in the other direction. Then continued to howl for at least 10 more minutes.)

It was a pretty darn amusing visual. He stopped so fast that his head threatened to disappear into his body. I swear, I think he leaped backwards without bothering to turn around first. Cat DOES NOT LIKE CITRUS!

Nah, we just named him after the cat who'd been named after the person who had no sense of direction.

Now you just need to give him some Pavlovian conditioning. Citrus hands one day, catnip hands the next, back to citrus, then catnip, and on and on until Ami claims her cat and the cat hides in the light fixtures.
