Back on track!
Moving, yes, I am still doing that.
1. Painting achieved! Place looks marvelous! I do not regret any decisions.
2. Moving company called, they arrive tomorrow which is a huge relief as I had not been really specific about when they could deliver (as I didn't know b/c no one TOLD ME) and I do not like dangling threads. Now I can go have a nice definite talk with the super and hand over some paperwork. All that has to be done is to make sure there's a clear path for the sofa on friday.
3. Fridge is displaying a fault alarm. Must complain about this. I do not want to sit through having to get a replacement fridge. This would annoy me. This is actually the only real dangling thread left.
4. Now I can schedule cable installations! WOO. And various other sundries. Including the Target/Bed Bath and Beyond shopping sprees to make sure I have shower rods, curtains, trash cans, etc.
5. This is also on time so my special help gets to be extra helpful, was worried they'd have arranged their time and cash and just have bad luck all around.
6. Currently apartment is being cleaned out of construction dust and other remnants of the remodeling, so all the crap that gets spewed around during the move is all new crap!
7. Bedroom furniture arrived. Looks awesome. Bedroom slowly fulfilling all fantasies of lavish and comfy cave I had imagined.
8. What's left: Various wiring and other sundry to turn this place into a geek palace. I think the bedroom TV is gonna end up on the wall. /irony
