well THAT lasted 24 hour.s

I had a nice clean beautiful laptop screen. And then my mug slipped and two big dollops of hot cocoa landed on it.

Suggestions to return it to pristine nature?

ETA: Gentle washing with wet and then dry microfiber clothes seems to have worked on 95% of it. \o/

I've used a lot of different things to clean my laptop and screen, because i am a little obsessed with it. Strangely enought what works the best is that liquid alcohol hand sanitizer on a tissue or napkin.

It evaporates to be streak-free which is a big plus.

Oy. Not exactly your year for computer stuff (at least so far), is it?

Don't use glass cleaner on it, just use a soft, damp (very slightly damp) cloth on it, and don't rub hard. They do make this special cleaner for LCD panels, but I'm too brain dead atm to remember what it is.

It's been a long week. I barely wet microfiber cloth in gentle circles and then patted dry seems to have done it.
