Challenge comm and announcement!

I few days (weeks?) ago I put up a poll about a round robin type challenge. It's actually more like the way I tend to cowrite, just adapted for a live audience and possibly larger groups of people.

The basic premise was that groups of two or more people will tag each other with anywhere from one sentence to however much they're inspired to write. Then the story will be handed off to the next person in line. The idea was to make the comm very flexible. Offer several forms of the challenge, changing the type of prompt, the number of authors and all sorts of other variables. Sometimes with a three day limit, sometimes till they're done.

I've created the comm sga_robin because there seemed to be at least a bit of interest. However since I felt like I was having a hard time getting the idea across I have roped in asked seperis to join me in a live example of the kind of thing I was thinking of. We've tentatively decided on Friday, assuming neither of our schedules go to shit.

The comm is basically nothing but a name at the moment. (I've even limited posting access for now till I figure out how it'll all work.) The FAQ and first post will probably go up tomorrow (too tired tonight). I haven't even decided how to have more than one story going at a time (separate posts, separate threads etc.) and I'm hoping once we have an example up, people will not be so put off or worried about what the challenge might entail. It's meant to be low maintenance for those who need it to be low maintenance.

Volunteers to make it pretty (because I suck at that sort of thing) would be really appreciated. Also if you're interested, even if it's just to observe, please join, the completely moderated status probably won't stay. I think.
