TV schedule announcement

Via the futon critic: Interesting tidbit about this week's new episodes of NCIS, Criminal Minds and CSI: NY being quietly pulled from the schedule, with no new air date announced. That leaves us with 10 episodes aired for NCIS out of the estimated 13 completed. Since the networks are running low on any new content, they may be holding back new episodes until after the holidays, trying to stretch things out in hopes that the writer's strike will be resolved soon(ish)
I'm sure many of you noticed that with last night's NCIS and I figured that's probably what was going on, just-- I find the the way they're doing it pretty obnoxious. It's a bit like they hope we'll tune in anyway and so they'll be able to show these numbers to advertisers as well. It's a bit of a bait and switch considering my DVR (and most others) showed (and STILL DO) new episodes.
