I was a bit worried there, it took me nearly 2/3s of the first Dresden novel to really get into it, I think that's how far I had to work to get past what I already knew from the TV show. There's a lot of exposition in a novel like this, lots of info dumps, which I already knew a lot about, if not entirely in their correct forms. But I could tell it was interesting, so I pushed myself because I knew, I knew and I trusted what other people had said, that I would reach that place.
And I have.
Thank god. I was starting to worry. *happy dance!*
On a side note:
http://del.icio.us/fandombookclub Who wants to help me flesh this out? I know I took volunteers, but now I really need to go back and forth with people, have people help me try things, etc.
Please raise your hand and we'll work out the best mode of communication.
