FAQ
Q. WHY?
A. I am tired and my bed is warm and snuggly and I slept like crap. Mostly? I'm a self serving challenge organizer. Or to quote someone else:
"Why? The better question is why not? Would the world not be a better place with more fic about napping?? Curled up together under warm blankets, a tangle of limbs, sleepy cuddling, who does not

He forgets about the thigh a lot of the time, mostly because he can't feel anything so it's not like it's pain or anything. Rodney only remembers when something actively brushes against it and since he tries really hard not to sleep on his back, it's not something he often gets to think about.
Carefully he shifts his ass, hoping to find some miraculous position that shifts some pressure, but it's hard with John's heavy weight curled against his side and half on his torso, lax and and relaxing -- despite the half asleep thigh.
John's hand is curled around his hip, fingers splayed wide, stretching as far as they can reach and Rodney enjoys to slight warmth and weight only a good third, the pinky and the ring finger and about an inch below, fall into that numb spot and it's disconcerting and a very annoying reminder that his current position isn't the most comfortable in the world. John's hand twitches and then strokes lightly, thumb hooking under Rodney's waistband for half a second of sweet skin contact. It's a sign that Rodney's wiggling has woken John even if he still remains a completely limp mass against Rodney's side.
"Roll over, your leg is asleep," John mutters rustily, his brushing against Rodney's neck, "it's all tense and cold and not helping me stay in the mood."
"The mood?" Rodney whispers drowsily, he's tired and really does just want to let his eyes drop shut.
"Naps need moods." John says, poking him gently. "Now roll."
"I cannot believe you are this bossy while napping," Rodney rolls however, unable to hold back the sigh of relief when he reaches a position where blood flow can resume.
"It's a knack." John yawns curling an arm around Rodney's shoulders and burying his nose in his neck. "Now shut up and sleep."
Before Rodney can complain about how the mood is now gone for him his eyes fall heavily shut and the feeling of John's hand on his thigh lulls him to sleep.
