I'm starting to feel pretty bitter about Sorkin.
Here's the thing, he goes on and on about gayness, he goes so far to make a joke about anyone who would think that working in Hollywood they manage to avoid gay people--
--and yet I have this solid feeling that there will be no gayness involved in any of the main characters.
As for Tom, this is my guess.
The judge will be lenient because he was being a gentleman. Which in the end, he really was and that's what got him into trouble. But Sorkin will play it like some sort of southern stereo type, and to a certain point, it is. But Sorkin will someone manage to be grating and insulting about it.
