- McKay and Sheppard, both universes, SO DOING IT!!!! Sheppard wants to ask...isn't going to. "Rod" wants to tell...isn't going to. The love I have for those two actors knows so few bounds.
- And McKay? IN SHEPPARD'S ROOM? WHOA!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS! (caps lock broken - I'm broken :) ).
Now for more weird questions...do parts of this seem off to you? Rodney's a bit too...angsty? Just something a little bit off? Or is it just me?
He wasn't there for long enough but someone should have mentioned it. Yes.
Canon was semi Rodney Ingram McKay. But.. I can almost live with Meredith, though I do want the story behind that.
I'm curious about why also, but I can imagine a couple of possibilities.
As for things off. No the angst I can buy, NOTHING brings out the weird emotions that siblings and feeling not quite good enough. I mean this is totally shades of Doranda. What was off was the portrayal of Rod. He was too... smooth. He reached condescending. Like some of his actions were JUST so he could be THAT much different than Rodney. Which I suppose I can get if they're really working the polar opposite thing.
Rodney should have mentioned it as a way to get Rod away. "He can't stay. He'll have these terrible seizures...oh, wait, um...he can stay for a bit."
That's what I thought. However, I LOVE the Meredith. It's perfection. But of course we want the story. And that the niece's name is Madison...awwwwww! And the "How'd he get them to call him Rod; I could never get that" was just perfect.
I can imagine alot of possibilities but it just seems like it should have been given to them. However, since they didn't die...well...*shrugs*
I actually got the off feeling even before Rod showed up. I'm not sure why. It felt different in some ways. I was waiting on a "neither one of these is 'our' SGA" twist. *ponders*
And no ZPM? We have, two? Three? Episodes until that becomes an issue (ie - until mid-season break :) ).
But the...and the...and the MEREDITH!!!! OMFG!!!! *flails!!!!*
But I have questions - may I put them here? May we discuss them?
