CSI: NY
This week's CSI:NY dealt with a poly triad. And with each and every encounter the CSI's degrade, make fun of, mock, and align that type of relationship with the seediest out there.
I'm fucking insulted for actual poly practitioners everywhere.
It wasn't written as a ploy to get at them, it wasn't a sort of playful banter that Grissom would have, while silently chiding the occassional slip of tolerace while playing the "Have I? Haven't I?" game with his team.
No this was downright disgust and assumption that anyone living that lifestyle was automatically less than anyone else. That it was some sort of gateway activity, or even just the by product other "salacious" and possibly illegal activities.
Also? One day I want a healty poly relationship shown and the death to have NOTHING TO DO WITH SAID RELATIONSHIP.
And the CSI's are ASHAMED in the end, because they couldn't let the relationship go as a motive.
