Er, um...

Still Waters?

Because there's a still on Atlantis somewhere, and I'm always interested to see a bad pun put to good use.

Uh... Drat, and I can't think of anything better.

Title: The Day Atlantis Stood Still
Rating: R
Warnings: Deathfic.

Summary: "It was like everything slowed down and even Rodney could only imagine doing only three things at once."

Synopsis: It happens on a tuesday and for some reason that thought always makes Rodney laugh.

No one is surprised when John Sheppard dies, it was like this inevitable thing hanging over their heads waiting to come down and smash them all to bits.

Rodney McKay. head scientist and leader in the "Must not go bonkers yet" contingent must hold it together long enough to figure out what went wrong because John Sheppard does not crash land, not even experimental alien technology. Body in the morgue and funeral on the way, he can't stop, he wants access to the crash site but the Mediian government says now, they'll handle their own investigation thank you very much.

They're worse than the FAA.

Something doesn't feel right, but Rodney can't seem to clear his mind for long enough to figure out what.

Scientific Progress Goes 'Boink' by Amireal

A Calvin & Hobbes AU, in which John Sheppard is a wise(arse) figment of Rodney McKay's fervid imagination that everyone else on Atlantis must put up with as a side-effect of his genius.

Title: Scientific Progress Goes 'Boink'
Rating: Insane.

Summary: "Rodney, the puddle jumpers are not trying to kill you."

Synopsis:

Rodney knows they all think he's insane, he actually likes it like that, they leave him alone and he practically gets his own wing at Area 51 which really works well for him, plus the MP's practically pee themselves whenever he sneezes.

The only problem is the guy. The talking guy who keeps doing his math when he's not looking and leaning against things in an incredibly useless manner and being all around *there* when Rodney just wants to sink into his research.

Except, John keeps trying to convince him that everything he knows isn't real and Rodney, might actually start beleiving him. Especially when he wakes up one morning surrounded by water and sun and alien glass.

Oops, forgot the summary:

"When Grant says 'I love you', Donald as no idea if Grant understands what he's saying or if it's just a learned reflex from all the television watching. When Grant gets a lawyer to write over his entire stock of chocolate over to Donald, well, then he knows it's serious."

AWWWW! I love it! Mine love for Donald only grows. Damnit, I don't wanna have to go back and download the entire episodes. T.T

And agreed on the 'R' thing, though whoever pulls it off will be a god among fans.

Hee. Invader Zim. *giggles*

Oh. you're just *mean*.

No, I think the term is 'evil'. Mean would have involved Care Bears, Drano, and kelp. Besides, I didn't specify who 'them' was. ::grins::

Brava!
