Spoilers, SGA 2x19 Inferno
In no particular order or preference:
1. THE JOHN AND RODNEY SHOW! (so maybe a small bit of preference) Okay, that competing over the blonde was actaully not painful. But fun and competative and I can see two types of fic stemming from it. Both of which could be satisfying.
2. Knee bap of LURVE!
3. *blinks* Rodney has apparently turned into House, complete with ducklings. *watches Rodney wander around with Carson, Blonde chick and Sheppard following*
4. John purposefully ramping Rodney up. "Oh now you're just doing that on purpose!" "It's just not fair." All squeaky and cute. And Rodney KNOWS what's going on and it DOESN'T help. I am officially in love.
5. Dude, I totally think blonde chick went for Rodney over Sheppard. *smug grin*
6. The Naming of the Ship Scene. Dear John, you're no longer allowed to name things either, 'kai? Also, the previous scene where they find out the original name of the ship and Enterprise is shot down prematurely. I am probably far too in love with that scene to be healthy.
7. Just the-- every scene with the snappy snark! EVERY SCENE.
8. The Elizabeth and Sheppard exchange about the "Hot scientist" and his cute retort about the minister. "He's a man, I didn't pay much attention." Oh the places I can go with this. Really. Seriously. Hey, why does that nice white jacket have buckles?
9. Rodney. Technobabble. Volcano. Hands. Um yeah, was that articulate enough?
10. Sheppard's face when he gets his first look at the "Orion" *snort* That was 'orgasm in a can' ladies and germs.
11. Rodney's master plan. "Oh didn't I tell you?" And the stunned looks on everyone's faces when they finally get it. And the short little "if it works". And then "What then?" "Oh blonde chick and I were thinking maybe a light dinner." and he wasn't being nervous, he was mocking! Oh that was the Rodney from SG1! "Hello Anubis, this is your agent, we need you to dial it back a notch."
12. Double entedres. "First we need to get off." I died. Really I did. Well okay, I choked on my own spit. But I blame Sheppard's silent reactions in the background.
13. John arms. JOHN ARMS. With the straining and the pushing.
14. Fanfic return from the dead. John's cut in just as Rodney is all "We're just about read to--" "Ready to what?" The look they give each other, oh the LOOK.
15. And finally Bad Elizabeth, no stealing Rodney's woobie face of doom!
16. Rodney saying, "Extinction Level Event" is disturbingly hot.
