The v angry rant, condensed and fit for public consumption.
I'm wavering on the whole posting thing. It really is... quite vile in terms of emotional blathering. And it's the sort of thing that will start all sorts of nasty stuff I don't want to think about. For I have very little fortitude when it comes down to name calling.
Basically, it all boils down to "I like what I like and you don't get to tell me off for different tastes, and that works both ways". Unfortunately many people don't get that bit. There's also a little bit about doing unto others and making others feel bad, on purpose or not, because they're not in your fandom corner. Mostly it's about the majority versus the minority wherein I take the majority's side. Because someone has to, despite how uncool it looks to defend something that's got a large enough base some might think it doesn't need defending.
Newsflash, existance and agreement of one side is not an automatic slight to the other.
