160105 Happy Jing Day!

Yesterday was one of my close friend’s birthday, Jing. Another friend of ours suggested that we should have an outing to celebrate her birthday together, just the six of us. It was Jing’s wish to celebrate her birthday at The Manhattan Fish Market restaurant since forever, so I booked a table for us beforehand. After running some errands in the morning, Nihad and I reached Mid Valley around 12.30 noon, and we bought a cake on our way to the restaurant. We then proceed to look for candles and balloons. The girls were already in the mall earlier, so after walking around they came to the restaurant around 1pm. The drinks were served by the time they came. We ordered our food; KC had fish and chips, Sharon had something that I didn’t remember what, Nihad had Fishy Chicky Bang Bang while Zhee Qi, Jing and I shared a Volcano Platter Prawns. The food was great, I swear. It was my second time eating there and my experience was marvellous! After our dishes were cleared, I asked Mr. Aung to bring the cake and dessert out. The girls were really surprised to see the cake and the choices of desserts they served us (I chose them beforehand). It was Strawberry Shortcake. The cake was so soft and creamy and nice. There were only a quarter of the cake for Jing to bring back home. Honestly, I simply chose the desserts without knowing anything about them nor the prices. But all of them seems expensive as they were the restaurant’s signature desserts. The awesome part was the fact that the tower drinks and desserts were free of charge. They only charged us for our food. The girls were really happy, and I was happy too. I realized that the feeling of making others happy is an accomplishment for myself, and it was priceless.

Later, we went walking around the mall a bit, and we planned on going to the japanese library located in North Point building. Apparently, that didn’t happen (laughs). We stopped by at so many shops and spent at least 10 minutes in each shop. On ourway to the library, we stopped by somewhere to take pictures because the setting was Instagram worth setting. We literally spent the rest of our time there instead and decided not to the library. So we board the train to KL Sentral. The girls stayed behind to hang around Nu Sentral Mall until six, while I took the train back home.

It was an enjoyable outing. It was definitly one of the best days in my life. Jing loved all of the arrangements I made, from A to Z. She told me that she loved my present for her too. I was honoured to be given the chance to organize a meaningful party for her, even though I think that iwas a bit rushed. But everyone is happy, and I am more that contented.

I even got to buy a choker! Yay me!
