You've Got Mail!
It is surprisingly a pain in the ass to sort out my Hotmail Inbox. I started reading some of my e-mails, the earliest of which are from March. Jesus Christ all my early ones are all either from Jeff or Lauren. Clearly, I am very bored. I've been home since 4PM. This week Horizon closes at 2 PM. It will be nice to get out early on my BIRTHDAY tomorrow!! And Friday I have the day off. :)
I got an early b-day present from Mom -- the iHome which is really AWESOME. I recommend it. I also recommend these noise-canceling Sony headphones I bought from Best Buy on Monday. Ran me about $90 but worth it. Background noises are muffled and muted. Plus, the ear buds are really snug and help muffling sounds, too. I am thoroughly impressed.
So my weekend in New York is all set. Friday night is my birthday dinner at Cibo (41st & 2nd) at 7:30 with Fran, Vin and Jen. Marcelo has to work. The other losers I invited either can't come or did not respond. Yeah, that's not rude. Then Saturday I am coming down to NY for dinner at this place in midtown with Fran, Marcelo and the Monica/Katie bunch and then we're going to some club to ring in the New Year. Should be fun. Sure beats the past 12 new years celebrations spent in people's basements in Fairfield.
Oh and I did manage to cross one thing off my resolution list from last January -- I finally stopped biting my nails. It's been almost four months. Hooray.
