I know it's not nice to talk about money, but... I got a totally unexpected bonus at work, a whole extra paycheck, and, you know, money! Cashmoney!
This is the best part about that extra money, thinking of things I could spend it on. I know the actual spending will not bring me anywhere as much as much joy as the picking and choosing.
A lamp for the projector to be able to watch movies the size of my wall / a trip to New York to take photos and dance / extravagantly expensive shoes / more hardcover books than I can carry / peace of mind from not having any more Visa bills / a new camera with a magic lens / sofa pillows with pictures of cranes (the construction ones) on them / something nice that the Boy fully deserves, bless him / a season pass to the lovely pool! A bike! Food! Whee!
