ah! melbourne.ah! gigs.ah! too much.

did i tell you? i went to a dinner party a week or so ago and there i met a girl who is, basically, a female version of bernard from black books. bloody brilliant. makes me want to watch black books again. perhaps there is a new series since i've last seen them as well.

sodastream + co. were amazing on saturday night. they had a keyboard lent to them this time (& for the first time in Perth apparently!) - meaning some of my favourite songs could be played. i made some cool new friends as well. it was good to be out with some old ones as well. interesting the crowd that turned up - it was sans most of the coolsie chat types i've been seeing at gigs recently.

i'm on the last book of the bronte sisters; 'villette'.

8 days til i'm flying. i have to catch up with a lot of people and organise moving out/storage. who wants to do something?

i went to a local church fair yesterday, st margarets day celebration, there were many kilts and then there was 'pipes and a drummer (father and son, too.) i picked up an old 'carry on' flight suitcase from the niknak stall and got told i looked like a world war two refugee, which was quite incorrect. i plan to use it for my sheet music originals which are an awkward size (methinks to make it harder to photocopy them) because apparently i should start using them now since i am going to use them in my exam. so much for thinking i was organised. my friend got some large silver earrings the kind of which she's never had before and they look great. it's been ages since i've been to a community thing like that.
