Sure; when you SAVE your entry, there is a little box that says SECURITY: just click FRIENDS ONLY as the security, otherwise it defaults to PUBLIC.

You can also screen what your friends see, by making Friends groups.
Just click on the FRIENDS, then MODIFY FRIENDS GROUPS,
and you can make up any group you want, and put whoever you want into it. THen when you save, save as CUSTOM, and select which group you want. But thats only for special occasions ;)

If you want your old entries to be Friends only, there is no other way to do it, than EDITING each one, and selecting FRIENDS ONLY as security, instead of the Public default. Rather a pain, it is.
