i just wanted to take the time to say
i don't know if my dad or anyone else agreed with my purchase, but the $600 i spent on my computer was very well spent. i have been very happy with it and i think i will continue to be happy with it for another two years maybe... unless the case falls apart before then... but so far it's all holding up. and now at least i know for sure i can easily build a complete system from a bunch of parts, so even getting a new case wouldn't be a big deal.
i'm such a nerd, and i love it.
on a related note, i downloaded mandrake linux 10 and i think i'm going to install it and dual boot it with XP for a while until i get comfortable enough with it to completely rid myself of microsoft for good. if i don't like it i will try Suse... eventually, windows must die. in my house at least. hopefully i can convert my family before i move out. there would be even less... um... not exactly "customers," since all of the M$ software in my house is pirated... shit, i can't write that online, can i? haha, just kidding. fuck you microsoft. i stole your products. and i laugh.
