Thanks to Nico Claux, I've finally found the exact horseman exhibit I've been looking for over the past couple of years. Instead of plastination as done by Gunther von Hagen of Germany, this is a wax injection technique by Fragonard of France.

Nico is going to visit Gunther von Hagens' Body Worlds (plastination museum) in Frankfurt later on this month. I've asked him to consider producing a painting of the plasticized horseman for me. His artwork is generally very morbid anyways and I think this particular picture would look great in his style. It's good that he's found a way to channel his negative energies into something more positive like art. He's one of the only "would-be" serial murderers that I've found not to have actually escalated into more murders.

It seems to be the case that many offenders of violent crimes, once incarcerated, pick up art as a way to pass the time. As a result, it seems that it also serves as a rehabilitative purpose. I don't, however, believe in full rehabilitation of said offenders.

Hmm. I'll have to go more into this entry later. Work to do. :(
