Librarian question

Oct 09, 2011 20:53

I have 10 books in Danish all from the 1950s that I am looking for a good home for. (Once upon a time--when I thought they were in Swedish--I thought I'd teach myself Swedish by learning to read them by way of a Swedish-German dictionary and a German language book on Swedish grammar. ...Not that either of those--which I still have also--would have helped since the books are in DANISH.

All 10 books are YA novels, and 8 of them are from the "Pernille" series by Gretha Stevns. They are in decent condition, have red cloth spines with stiff cardboard covers and brightly-drawn pictures glued to those.

I'd LOVE to find a way for these books to go to a home where they'd be appreciated, but if I don't find somewhere in the next month or so, I'll have to toss them (*whimper*). Help?

(Do please signal boost...and I'm GLAD to pay to send these somewhere they'll be loved.)
