Home again
We are back from a good and productive weekend at Mom's. Husband sawed slats, retrieved box spring and mattress, hung blinds, changed knobs and locks, disposed of the massive collection of keys, and generally was VERY HELPFUL. He's the best son-in-law ever.
The house is pleasantly cool (even though it's only 70 up here, rather than the cooler that I would prefer). Husband is being hit with the climate-change allergic/sinus reaction. I'm still on the highest dose of my meds, and so have handled this and the previous trip south (to visit imbri6) well. I plan on staying on this dose till after Louisville.
We are all Very Tired.
On the way home I determined by not-very-random sampling the geographic and socio-economic underpinnings of the existence of Horrifying Jello Concoctions (see next post).
