Housework and GIP
The kids are getting better and better at household chores. And they have been SAVING their allowance! Ben has $21.00! Elf has an unknown amount in her Stuff Box that Husband maintains. She's saving up for the Pokémon White game that's coming out in the spring. I'm so proud!
Now to get them to do them ALL WEEK, incrementally, rather than me directing them to do everything on the weekend.
I folded laundry, we all put our stuff away, Husband took out the trash and has removed the TABLE that was blocking the closet, and I may have to decide to go through and box up all the Clothes That Might Fit Again Someday so I can use my drawers for clothes that DO fit.
So...progress.
In other news, the kids and I are in LOVE with Hyperbole and a Half. It is sadly telling about WHY we love it that, when I told the kids earlier they need to go clean their room. Ben responded with, "But...nobody's coming to our house."
