Oops...wrong milk
This morning Ben accidentally put buttermilk on his cereal and made these amazing faces as he realized just how dreadful it was then nearly gagged on it trying to not spit it out then trying to spit it out after getting permission to do so.
The saddest part is what a waste of good buttermilk (cake ingredient!) it was.
The funniest part was where he was like, "Why didn't you tell me?"
I got to say, "Gee...I don't know. Husband...why didn't I telepathically know that the boy was going to look at the differently shaped bottle with the different colored lid and the different words on the label and realize that he was going to pour it on his cereal and get up out of bed and tell him not to do that?"
Boy looked appropriately abashed.
Then he went downstairs to the backup fridge to get regular milk and remake his cereal. He even emptied the dishwasher without a single reminder (his magnetic letter is on top, letting him know it's his turn).
