Kids and Cats
My kids have really made friends with the (very patient!) cats.
When there was the whole klatsch of kids here (courtesy of mtgat and cheekygal), they were on their walkie talkies saying, "Cat Plan 1, Go!" and "capturing" the "prisoners" and putting them into the bedroom. There were even cat hunts using pillowcases (which meant that we then had to put the pillowcases back on all the pillows...).
Since then, GrayCat in particular has been buddies with Elf (I do not understand how these activities endeared the children to the cats, but that seems to have been the result). She has been wrapping him in the doll quilt that my great-grandmother made for me, carrying him around like a baby, and generally loving on the cats.
