Old fandoms ficathon

Tomorrow is the last day for signups at oldschoolfic for this season's ficathon.

Right now it's TINY and there will be lots of time to write--and to write a story with only a 1,000-word requirement...--since stories aren't due until AFTER yuletide stories are due. Any cancelled fandom is up for grabs. You know, wiliqueen, like BT

I've been eyeing it, but decided to wait for the next round. Just too much crazy going on and I will get "Memento Mori" done before I commit myself to writing anything else, dammit.

ARGH! This is a bad sign, I guess, that I'm just getting 'round now to seeing this post...after the deadline. I probably would have signed up, too. :P Ah well.

It's too bad you won't be able to play in this round, but this is their third round, so the odds seem good that there will be a fourth oldschoolfic event in Q1 '09 -- as long as this one doesn't implode -- so you might keep it in mind...?

I added oldschoolfic to my friends list, so hopefully I'll see when the next call goes out. ^_^ If nothing else, hopefully I'll have the time/chance to beta for someone.
