12:25 am Go to bed (yeah, Husband had to take away my network cable and drag me, computer in hand while reading seldear's story--there's no ending, dammit!!!--to bed)

5:00 am Alarm goes off. Screw that.

5:50 am Get up, retrieve turkey and roasting pan, be really confused about how to, you know, stand up.

5:57 am A much more energetic, if sleepy, boy comes to his door and looks at me with big, serious, dark-circled eyes. Make him breakfast and settle him in with Ernie and Elmo.

6:05 am Get recipe, and start boiling giblets, washing turkey, chopping stuffing veggies.

7:00 am Put stuffed turkey in oven. Hope that the fact the roaster is completely, entirely full doesn't mean that it will spill. Calculate that, at 25 min per pound for a stuffed bird, the turkey should be cooked around, um...(25 x 20 = 250. So 250 divided by 60 is...4...wait... 25 x 10 = 250. So 25 x 20 = 250 x 2 = 500. 500 divided by 60 equals...less than 10. Say, 8. 7am plus 8 hours is...um...7 plus 5 is 12, 8 - 5 is 3, 12 + 3 is 3:00 pm.)...around 2:00 to 3:00. I hope.

Future events:

7:40 Post this.

7:45 Call marthabrin and see if she wants to join us for Food.

8:30 Bathe children to reduce contagion.

9:00 Bathe self. Mmmmmmm. Warm bath!

9:30 Have all three properly clothed.

9:40 Go to church so kids can interact with others, burn off energy, etc., and I can sing and do research in a quiet place.

11:30-ish Leave church. Call familyarchives and see if she wants to join us for Food. Call katnjen (the finder of a new job) and see if they want to join us for Food. Probably not call gmaalice since she would not be able to be in untidied/uncleaned house without discomfort.

12:00 Pick up hya and woodface from O'Hare.

1:00 Arrive home. Look at mess. Shrug at hya and woodface.

1:20 Begin other Turkey-n-Fixings foods whilst someone watches kids.

2:00 or so Greet mtgat and brood.

3:00 or 3:30 Eat.

Rest of day Chat with hya and woodface, rest, etc.

It's going to be a good day.
