Tree
I am loving the tree. The kids are leaving it (mostly) alone.
I forgot to tell folks that I LOVE our tree topper (and don't even remember where she came from). She's an adorable FAIRY! She's all pink and has blond pigtails with green ribbons and has a tiara and wings and a wand and a petal skirt and has red slippers and is stuffed and soft. *bounce*
And I taped all our Christmas cards to the front closet door and the wall around it. One plus in favor of semi-gloss paint! *grin*
We have the countdown-till-Christmas thing on the hallway door to the basement--it's made of felt and has a felt tree and little numbered pockets with little cross-stitched ornaments to velcro to the tree one per day.
I just love that the tree is covered with over 35 years' worth of homemade ornaments and ornaments we received as gifts.
It is good.
