I went to parent-teacher conferences this morning.
This was not my first p-t conferences, but was the first one I've been to as a parent. It was so freaking cool!!!
My daughter has been doing well in pre-school. She is leaving her blankie in her backpack, she has learned the routine, she's very social, and the teacher has her number about the fake-crying. Teacher the other day said, "It's time to stop crying now." And Elf just switched it right off. I said, "Oh, yeah." So she's testing limits, has an attention span apropriate for her age, and already knows how to recognize her name and what the first letter of it is and shapes and most colors and the stuff they're teaching this year. So this is about routine and socialization and following instructions--things she needs.
I'm so pleased--and grateful to
tylure for making it possible.
