Yuletide
I have my Yuletide assignment! I must write for my Yuletide assignment.
After the fashion of those who have already done this, I wanted to post with little bits of "things I like in fic."
I like the girls. I'm really, in fact, All About the Girls. I have a bad habit of having the guys be somewhat incidental in my approach to the fandoms.
I like the characters--I like to see into their heads, see what their buttons and big pictures are about and about what little details they notice or that stand out to them. I like details. I like canon and things that slip tidily into canon. I like humor. I like angst (though I prefer the kind that does not end in despair). I like parody. I like bittersweet. I like slice-of-life stuff. I like mundane character bits with little plot. I like ship (though I like it best when I can buy it).
I gave specifics, and while I'd love to see some of those stories, they're not the only stories out there and not the only stories I'd enjoy. I hope you have fun with the story...and thank you!
