Autumn
The day before yesterday, as I walked in to the school, it was the first day that the breeze held that first nip of autumn.
On Sunday afternoon, I could smell Autumn in the breeze.
The skies hint at Fall, and the trees soon will begin to turn.
Dry leaves are crunching on the ground and my daughter is collecting them into bouquets.
Soon it will be Samhain, a time to look back at the comings and goings of this year and previous ones, to watch as the end of the year is heralded by the weather and the earth going back to sleep till spring.
I love Autumn.
