Doctor update
Ben's in the 25th percentile of height and weight, as he has been for a while. Still in the 90th percentile for head circumference, too.
Doc doesn't know what to do with me. She thinks, as I'd started to, that yesterday morning's exhaustion was the withdrawal from the prednisone. She wants me at the allergist post haste since she dosen't want to add meds that I'll then just have to go off of.
She also wrote me a note and faxed it to school saying that I just can't be there till the AC is fixed.
So I made an appointment for Friday with the allergist/asthma specialist, and now I'm off all meds. The ones I took this morning are the last till after the appointment Friday and hopefully that will be long enough for it to be out of my system, and hopefully I'll react to the stuff they test me with, and hopefully they'll DO the tests so that the week off the meds won't be worthless... I did tell them already that my skin is highly non-reactive (I told them about mowing through and chopping up poison ivy, which then blew on my bare skin, and not getting it), so hopefully they'll consider that. Hopefully they'll find something they'll know what to do with.
