rebel, rebel

(i just picked the biggest, best looking raspberries in the world!! AND THEY WERE IN THE COMFORT OF MY VERY OWN BACKYARD!! yes, it's true, my mom is amazing (i'm back in langley for the month, to let you know.))

the weekend was spent at robyn myren's house, with said robyn myren. we made terrible (i'm sorry!! it was my fault, blasted vegan carob chips..) cookies and watched 'high fidelity' with roger and i read 'anne of green gables' abit and robyn worked abit and holly came over later and we watched 'now and then'. then we went to church twice in one day, in between which we played with water.
it was a great weekend.
monday i sat and read 'anne of green gables' all day long. yesterday i tried to do the same, with permitting the exception of a drive to an employment centre (i need some odd jobs to keep me busy for the month). but i got terribly bored. after watching a funny show with my dad, i decided i'd get some exersize (SP?!?) by going on a walk. it was now 10pm and raining terribly.
so i changed my mind and ran around the house.
then i got bored and decided i would risk the rain and walk down to pick my sister up from work. i put on a hoody and skate shoes without socks (my shoes have holes in them, so there seemed no point in getting socks wet).
did i mention i'd had David Bowie's 'rebel, rebel' in my head all day?
ok, now get this. this you will have to picture: i went outside at 10pm, pelted by the biggest raindrops i'd seen in months, running and jumping and splashing, all the while singing, "rebel, rebel, you tore your dress...rebel, rebel, your face is a mess ..."

it was great. i havent been that wet since highschool, when one rainy day megan and i went to a worship night at the langley vineyard and when it was over, the drain in the back parking lot had flooded creating a puddle a few feet deep. who could resist? not us.

anyway... i'm going to go on a walk now.
