brthday update

this was my original birthday wish list:

world peace
the book WICKED by Gregory Maguire
a pair of size 10 mary jane crocs in chocolate, black or red
new earrings
a decent teacher's chair so my back and ass would not hurt so damn much
good grades for my ESL students
a facial or full body scrub at a spa
complete understanding of pre-calculus so i can help my 9th graders
a dehumidifier
all 3rd world countries to be released from debt
a decent sitting area in my clasroom
a weekend at sonya's garden
knowing the sex of my baby
the beatle's REVOLVER and ABBY ROAD cds
a classroom that doesn't smell like mold or latex paint
email messages from my friends

i got:
1. WICKED
2. l'occitane (sp?) green tea cologne and body wash
3. two maternity shirts
4. promised mary jane CROCS!
5. decent grades for my ESL students (whee!)
6. a birthday dinner at MASAS
7. a birthday lunch at SPIRALS (i'll save this for an entire post)
9. a bag to keep my school stuff in
10. a cocoa butter stick for my expanding belly
