Well 2005's ending huh? How about that. If you asked me right now what the most meaningful year of my life was so far, 2005 would sure as fuck be the answer. I can safely say I matured more in '05 than in the first 16+ years of my life combined. I mean I was kinda mature, but I had a lot of shit to learn and I got a lot out of 2005. It wasn't always perfect, no, not at all. Not everything was easy, but I needed all of it. This year I've grown, matured, and become a real person. I like it. I feel bad for people who haven't experienced it yet. Your time will come. Maybe.

Anyways, I've pretty much learned who my real friends are, and who just sucks. Kinda sad, but I was over it long ago. Believe me, I'm not blind to the fact that, if I wasn't one already, I've become a cocky and conceited fuck. It's too bad, but I have no regrets. I've just gone from a quiet kid who secretly thinks he's the man to an offensive and somewhat outgoing kid who knows he's the man. Heh, oh well.

I don't really think of myself the same way at all anymore. Go back a year, and I thought I was kind of a douche in some ways (that does not conflict with me previously saying that I secretly thought I was the man). From April on, pretty much everything has changed, and all for the better, with the exception of some people turning out to be douches themselves. A year is a real fucking long time I guess. Or maybe not. It's funny how far I feel like I progressed, because it seems that a lot of people are no more mature than they were when '04 became '05. The final night of 2005 will just be another opportunity to be kids. Oh well, I guess it's not so bad if you haven't even begun the process of growing up yet. Heh.

I have absolutely no regrets. 2005 was a big year. Overall, it was good.

Shoutouts for the year go to: Alyssa Patricia Driscoll, Christopher John Antonellis, Matthew Daniel Pupa.
A few other people were fine too, but the majority of others suck a lot of dick.

If you're offended by any or all of this, I'm sorry, so am I.

Happy fucking new year. Here's to '06. :-)
