Reposting of my 101 in 1001 list with updates

I've seen this meme around, and I've decided that I need some things to keep me motivated. I started writing this list June 27, 2010. As of this posting, I'm on day 42

My 1001 days end on Sunday, March 24th, 2013, which happens to be the 12th anniversary of the creation of my Live Journal.

If anyone wants to join me in any of these pursuits, feel free :)

The key to this list is as follows:

1. Read 15 fiction books that are not required by school (0/15)
2. Be within 12 credits of finishing my 120 credit degree (in other words, on schedule to graduate come June, 2013) (48/120)
3. Try to become less shy (any tips?)
4. Lose 150 lbs (13/150)
5. Go 10-pin bowling with dad
6. Write 200 LJ entries (5/200)
7. Participate in NaNoWriMo one November
8. Ride my bike from one end of Fish Creek park to the other
9. Go Winter Camping
10. Be able to bench-press 120 lbs
11. Pay off my Visa card
12. Read 15 non-fiction books that are not required reading for school (1/15)(Get me out of here: My recovery from BPD)
13. Learn more about my mother
14. Donate blood 15 times (1/15)
15. Learn 10 new vegetarian recipes that I enjoy eating (0/10)
16. Watch the 3 LoTR movies
17. Get a tattoo
18. Complete Level 1 of The Rosetta Stone program for Japanese
19. Complete Level 2 of The Rosetta Stone program for Japanese
20. Learn to love myself
21. Try 5 different kinds of seafood. (3/5) (Shrimp is ok, a prawn is alright, but I think I prefer shrimp. Crab is ok, but salty!) (motivated by the pleasant salmon experience)
22. Eat 6 servings of fruit and veggies every day for an entire month
23. Get to know Jacob as he grows up
24. Grow my hair long, only trim it as needed
25. Run a 5K and not finish last
26. Maintain a 3.86 GPA (currently 3.82)
27. Participate in the PostSecret project
28. Learn to ice skate
29. Write a song
30. Meet an online friend in person
31. Learn to knit Persian chainmaille
32. See the Atlantic Ocean
33. Hold a snake
34. Make jam at home
35. Open an Etsy shop
36. Go to a wine tasting
37. Put away $5$10 for each completed task - the total to be spent doing something incredible at the end of my 1001 days. (changed this so that I can save more to GET to the Atlantic ocean)
38. Get my wisdom teeth taken out
39. Complete the Try-it Triathlon (375m swim, 10 Km cycle and 2.5 Km run)
40. Learn to wall climb
41. Write a list of things that each person in my life has taught me
42. Stop chewing my fingernails
43. Complete distress centre training, and volunteer there
44. Learn to dance
45. Pierce my eyebrow
46. Go snowshoeing
47. Shoot a gun for the first time
48. Fly a kite
49. Request a new AHC card so I can fill out the organ donation form on the back before it is laminated
50. Get a stamp on my passport
51. Bake a cake for someone's birthday
52. Give up Diet Coke for an entire month
53. Try 10 new restaurants
54. Take a photo of a place through all four seasons
55. Learn how to take a compliment
56. Teach others that I care about what I know about nutrition
57. Help build a Habitat for Humanity house
58. Learn to identify 10 constellations in the night sky (5 in winter, 5 in summer)

75. Weigh myself no more frequently than every two weeks, no less frequently than monthly
76. Document a "day in my life" in photographs
77. String popcorn for a Christmas tree
78. Stay at a bed-and-breakfast COMPLETED AUGUST 6, 2010
79. Learn to play 5 new songs on my guitar (0/5)
80. Get the last 5 stars that I need to move forward in Super Mario Galaxy
81. Take a continuing education course purely out of interest
82. Get a pay raise
83. Go berry picking at Keyben Farms
84. Make a pie with the berries acquired
85. Make it on the Honour's list all four possible times at school (1/4) *Found out Aug 23/2010 for the first 30 credits*
86. Complete two consecutive semesters without requiring an extension (0/2)
87. Get a makeover with some girlfriends
88. Go above-and-beyond by helping out with extra shifts at work at least 10 times (3/10)
89. Send flowers to someone at work, just because
90. Get enough confidence to sing karaoke in public (confidence may be in the form of liquor)
91. Try an entire meal of sushi (who's up for this?)
92. Decorate my man cave with photos of those I love COMPLETED AUGUST 2010
93. Learn enough about computers to be able to pass A+ certifications
94. Drink 2L of water daily for a month (0/31)
95. Give 3 friends "just because" gifts (0/3)
96. Have a semester where my grades are 4.0
97. Go eat suicide wings
98. Write a letter to myself to open in 10 years
