Love over the internet might indeed be true.
IM each day we do, and grow closer by the minute;
it may seem obsessive, but we mustn’t say adieu.
‘Til wee hours of the morn, our virtues we review:
you’re the person most like me in all the planet.
Love over the internet might indeed be true.
Our pictures are available for view,
we’ve sent each other the whole gamut.
It may seem obsessive, but we mustn’t say adieu.
May I say “soul-mate”? Perhaps “cyber-love” will do.
I like you, you like me (you even sent me chocolate),
love over the internet might indeed be true.
Some may say it’s strange, I say me you did rescue.
For each other, our emotions now are scarlet;
it may seem obsessive, but we mustn’t say adieu.
Things may improve, although how we feel may be taboo.
Things needn’t be so secret:
love over the internet might indeed be true.
It may seem obsessive, but we mustn’t say adieu.
