I don't think I can ever commemorate Pearl Harbor Day. It just makes me think of Executive Order 9066, the incarceration of Japanese Americans, and the incredible resentment I harbor toward FDR.
Imagine being in the 442nd or 100th Battalion and fighting for your country while people who look like you and have last names like yours are incarcerated in remote camps with guards pointing their machine guns into the fenced area. Let's not even get started on the loyalty questions.
It just makes me sad.
