sock update
I've been learning how to knit socks! The red sock is knit with Malabrigo Sock yarn and will be a belated birthday gift for my grandma. I'm having problems knitting the heel and heel gusset, so I still need a lot more practice.
I don't think I'll knit many pairs of socks, though. Knitters say that once you wear handknit socks, you can't go back to wearing store-bought ones, but knitting socks doesn't make economic sense at ALL. Malabrigo Sock yarn is $20-25 which is enough for one pair of socks. I don't even have a pair of store-bought socks that cost that much, not to mention the 20+ hours it would take me to knit.
