i <3 boys who recycle

I bought this bag for $3.85 today and I'm pretty embarrassed about it. The thing is, half a yard of canvas is $4.99 at JoAnn Fabrics so the bag is cheaper to buy than make. (I bought half a yard of canvas last week to try to make a tote for groceries, but my mom didn't want to take out the big sewing machine so my project is at a standstill.)

On the website all of the other options look so much better, but I didn't see any of them in the store. I was going through these motions of, "if I buy this, will I use it?" and "well, I guess I can flip it inside out" until it was sort of like-- "it's a damned grocery bag, who the hell cares?" Yes, all this contemplation over a stupid $3.85 canvas bag; if it was an eyeshadow from MAC ($14) I wouldn't have given it any thought at all. What a terrible flaw in logic.

But this will make up for it.

+ $14.19 return credit for cardigan
- $27.04 3 pairs of capris
+ $8.11 credit for price adjustment
- 14.46 1 pair yoga pants and bag
---------
- $19.20 = 3 pairs of capris, 1 pair of yoga pants, green tote

$, recycling
