I liked the Prydain chronicles, but not nearly as much as many of the other MG fantasy series I've read. Still, I remember liking The Book of Three and The Black Cauldron pretty well. (I read the whole series while waiting for HP4 to come out a few years back, not as a kid.)

I think my love of it stems from reading it when I was young (8-9-ish). I know there are other series out there that are better, but that one just has some really good memories attached to it.
