Starting off the new year as a paid writer
When I got home after visiting my parents over the holidays, I found two checks in the mail. One was from reviewing, the other was for my work for hire. Wow. It is still so strange to actually be paid for writing. People actually pay for this?
I actually managed to whip out a chapter over the holiday week. I'm going to shoot for at least 500 words a day now. That should give me plenty of time to finish a rough draft of the book, revise, and get it to the editor well before school starts in June. Once that is off my plate, I need to start focusing on my thesis.
