What I did instead of writing yesterday
I finished a rough draft of the new project on Saturday! Deadline is September 15, so I now have a full month to revise and polish. Ahh. I debated jumping right into that on Sunday, but then decided I needed a day off.
So, what I did NOT do on Sunday:
Write
Revise
Clean
Work-work
Conference-work
What I DID do:
Read 4 middle-grade books (3 by Betty Wren Wright and The Witch of Blackbird Pond)
Stared some rose cuttings (I hope!)
Re-potted some baby jade plants
Started some African violets
Crocheted (ok, I shouldn't have done that because of my wrist, but I just HAVE to! Hello, my name is Amie and I'm a craft-o-holic)
Watched TV
Passed judgment on the gates Brian's making for the fence. 2 more gates and Lucy can run in the back yard!
I'm so glad I did that. It's been ages since I had a day to just goof off!
